"Migrant Crisis"

The right has been adamant for some time now that they think the Democrats and Joe Biden have opened the border to anyone seeking asylum, allowing them to take advantage of the working class. MAGA is unaware that the majority of visitors are here lawfully (because they would find it difficult to support themselves here illegally and would almost certainly face deportation). Apart from this important aspect, MAGA labels these recent immigrants as criminals. Why does this come about? The only reason is that it instills dread in his hardcore followers, who are already opposed to the thought of immigrants from the South taking the place of European Whites. This is unrelated to freeloading, poverty, or crime.  Akin to DEI or Woke, it's another code expression used to incite dread of progressive action.

The right-wingers' blatant fabrication of allegations against immigrants is seen in the case of the Haitian immigrants of Springfield. It is claimed that 20,000 immigrants were sent to Springfield, Ohio, and that they have since been caught consuming dogs and cats. Several of these videos were reported by the community on the social media platform "X" as containing inaccurate material. A community note stated that a lamb was being grilled in place of the cat. In addition to the bizarre conspiracy theories that have circulated on the internet, Springfield, Ohio, local authorities have denied knowing of any such cat-eating incident occurring and have stated in interviews that these immigrants work incredibly hard. One migrant stated that they would rather use walmart as a source of meat rather than another individuals pet.
